the most golden engagement session at piedmont park

It's crazy that I live right on Piedmont Park, and this is my first engagement session here! My husband, Brett and I, are so lucky to live in such a vibrant city, and we need to take more advantage of the park! Victoria had booked me over 5 months ago, when one of my friends showed her my work and she felt as if we'd be a match, and now I'm obsessed with her and Lucius! They had so much fun the whole time, and Brett also tagged along to walk their adorable dogs throughout the session (and he did a GREAT job) and the love between them really made their images come alive.

Vicky and LJ wanted their session at Piedmont Park, because this was the same spot they met 3 years ago (I LOVE when couples incorporate memories into their sessions). Victoria knew LJ was something special when they met, so she made the move of asking him when he was going to take her out! Love a girl that knows what she wants!

They both love to travel, and started traveling right away, and fell in love city to city, country to country!

Their proposal is the best story yet- check this out!

One day in November 2016 when Vicky was flying back from Chicago for a work trip, LJ was at the airport with bags packed waiting for her. He made her believe that they were going the LSU v FL game in New Orleans - but instead she quickly found out they were actually going to her favorite FL city, Key West! (good thing she already had a bathing suit packed!)

They landed in Key West with perfect weather and headed straight to the beach. LJ had a stranger take a picture of them, but then he got down on one knee and asked Vicky to marry him!

They celebrated their engagement the whole weekend in style, with romantic sunsets and beach brunches- the rest is history! They are going back to Florida next fall to get married, and I cannot wait to see their breathtaking photos.

Thanks for the memories guys, so glad our paths have crossed!
