FILA. Forever I love Atlanta, and forever WE love Atlanta! I'm so lucky to have a best friend like Ariana, and her sister, Julie, is just as sweet and adorable. Shooting this session was so much fun! Atlanta is such an amazing city, with so much to see everywhere you go. Happy to feature these photos with all of you, and hope to have another shoot with you in this location soon! Enjoy :)
Sparklers and Smoke Bombs
I don't know where to start, with how much I love this session and these images. Chaya and Shae's engagement session was amazing! They were so much fun, and up for anything. Chaya originally had the idea of balloons, which I adored, so I raced to Party City right before the shoot, and filled my car with 25 balloons ready to go! I saw a fireworks store next to Party City, so I stopped in there to grab some sparklers and smoke bombs, because I knew they'd be up for it! Although at one point during the shoot, a smoke bomb did shoot into Chaya's face, but she was not harmed! We all laughed about it and just started lighting more, because the effect was too cool not to keep going!
Shae proposed to Chaya on a private boat cruise in Charleston, SC- SO romantic, I know! He had her ring custom designed the way that she'd always dreamed of, and also included their birth stones in the band. He is so thoughtful, and always thinking of her.
Their chemistry that night was so natural, I didn't have to do any work! You guys are made for each other, and I know your dream wedding in October is going to be perfect:)
Patiently Waiting
When I first found out my childhood friend was pregnant, I was overjoyed and couldn't believe how "old" we are getting! Aulbrey and Stephen have been inseparable since high school, got married in Atlanta Georgia 4 years ago, and now live out their dreams in Charleston South Carolina. I pretty much grew up with Aulbrey and her family, in their beautiful castle in Cumming, Georgia- it was a fairy-tale middle school experience! We had so much fun there, with the horses and 4-wheelers, in the secret passage ways, terrorizing her little brothers, the memories are endless. The house holds special meaning to Aulbrey and Stephen, they had their wedding there 4 years ago and every life event has happened in this house. It was no surprise to me, that Aulbrey and Stephen wanted their maternity photos taken in this magical place, and boy was it magical! I woke up at 6am to head over to their house the day before Christmas Eve, and just as the sun rose we started shooting. They had such a great time just being together and hanging out with their little girl, whose bump is beautiful on Aulbrey! They also were able to incorporate their family, which was very special to get to see everyone and have them be apart of the session. I'm so glad that through their busy schedules, we were able to meet over Christmas and capture some gorgeous images. I hope you enjoy scrolling through their moments, as much as we enjoyed experiencing them. Congratulations again, can't wait to meet your baby girl in February!
